All the things you can do with extra time

So the clocks go back here in the UK on Sunday, and that got me to think about what I could do in that extra hour. Time being precious this is what I came up with so you can choose:

Paperwork

Running a business or being part of a team, you inevitably run into paperwork. There may not be enough time in the day to get it all done. With that extra hour you could make a dent in it and then maybe also save yourself sometime in the long run.

Plan your Social Media

Planning what to post on your Social Media channels is time consuming (believe me, I know). From looking over the data, finding and writing content, to the eventual posting can all eat up time. However, with the extra hour you could do any number of those things. You could spend it going through the data, scheduling uploads, leaving you more time to get on with other things.

Plan a social

If you work in a team, odds are you’re spending most of the time cooped up in the office. Why not break the monotony and do something fun? You could spend the time looking up activities for your team to partake in or a fancy restaurant to go for a meal (covid permitting obviously). If you get the time you could even come up with an event page or group chat to get people’s input.

Spend it with Family

A lot of us work 9-5 and when you factor in travelling it could balloon to a lot longer, which means we inevitably spend less with the family. So why not take the moment to enjoy time with your family? Be it partner, kids or even friends, it would provide a welcome break from the pressures of day to day life.

Time to Sleep

Let’s be honest this is the one nearly everyone is going to go for; an extra hour in bed on a Sunday with no commitments is the dream. If you get that extra hour in bed it might set you up for a productive work week.
