Christmas is that special time of year where we put all our problems and animosity to one side. Regardless of whether you celebrate it or not for millions of people it is a time to focus on the things that really matter to you. It is why there is a lot of talk about getting into the Christmas Spirit which according to Thrive Global:

Christmas Spirit and Business?
Why are you talking about the Christmas Spirit of all things? I hear you ask. Well, it’s really very simple. Far too often in business we think about how do I benefit by doing something, how does that make me look. It’s always very much focused on oneself. This time of year reminds us of all we can and should do for others. If we as business owners take our Christmas Spirit and channel it into something positive and change our ways of thinking, I think it would be an easier world to live in. Don’t get me wrong, lots of businesses do great work for charity and they are all worthy causes. What I’m talking about is an attitude change from people. A change of me to we.
